Purpose
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the Church.

Hispanic Ministries in Holston Conference
God is doing great things at our new church near Philadelphia, TN. The Spanish-speaking congregation is led by Dani and Kacye Castillo. Kacye grew up here at Fountain City, and is the daughter of Rocky and Kathy Castenir. We are pleased that they can be with us to talk about their ministry at Casa de Alfarero, The Potter’s House UMC. Incidentally, there is a good article about this ministry in the latest issue of The Call, our Holston Conference newspaper. This is the second of three mission-study programs led by Jim and Betty Dougherty. Jim is the chair of the Holston Conference Hispanic-Latino Ministries Team. - August 10: Program: Joint Meeting of All Circles–6:30 p.m.
