Staff Parish Relation Committee has accepted the resignation of Jennifer Smiddy effective February 7, 2010. Jennifer has been a faithful staff member serving the children of our church. Below is a portion of her letter:
“I am stepping down as the Director of Early Childhood Ministries. I had already stepped down from half my responsibilities, as of January 4, maintaining childcare, and Sunday morning responsibilities but I am now stepping down from everything. I have loved this job and working with and for you and your little people but I really want to worship with my family and focus on completing my teaching certification and masters. The good news is, and there is always good news, that I will still be an active member and volunteer at FCUMC. I still want and intend to be one of the many who teach our little people about God and Jesus.”
