Shout Hosanna on Palm Sunday!
April 5, 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.
Those who are willing and able will gather on the front lawn (weather permitting) of the church building prior to each of the morning worship services on April 5. Each worshiper will receive a palm branch to wave as we walk along Hotel Avenue into the building and to our worship spaces.
Maundy Thursday
April 9, 7:30 p.m. – Service of Holy Communion
Thursday is the day on which Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples just prior to his crucifixion on Friday. Please worship with us in the sanctuary as we share in the sacrament of Holy Communion.
Good Friday
April 10, 7:30 p.m. – Tenebrae Service (Service of Shadows)
Through Scripture and song, and the darkening of the sanctuary at the conclusion of the service, we will remember the desertion of Jesus by the disciples and the death of our Savior. The Chancel Choir will lead us in this very powerful time of worship.
Easter Sunday
April 12, 8:30 and 11:00
Identical traditional services with choir and brass quintet will take place in the sanctuary at 8:30 and 11:00. Our contemporary service will be held in the gym at 11:00.
