The Staff-Parish Relations Committee is pleased to report that, following Stephanie Wayland’s announcement in May that she will be retiring, we have found an outstanding organist. She is a graduate of Indiana University and is in her 51st year as a church musician. Among other credits to her name is the fact that she taught piano to James Taylor’s children. She has proven herself a very gifted organist, who loves music and the Lord. Her name is Stephanie Wayland!
Due to a change in her personal situation, we are fortunate that Stephanie is able to stay with us, with the proviso that she will be able to be away from the organ during the summer. We are delighted, of course, that Stephanie will continue to bless us in her 16th year here as we praise God through music.
