The process of becoming a “Love & Logic” parent takes time, training, consistent effort, love, and logic. Participants of the “Love & Logic” training this fall are actively involved in planning an expanded program this spring. It will consist of two components:
- Sunday evenings, beginning February 8 and ending March 29, a seven-week series of “Love & Logic” philosophy, techniques, and strategies will be offered. Sessions will begin at 6:00 and end at 7:30. All sessions will be lead by certified “Love & Logic” facilitators. The cost is $15 to cover materials. Some scholarships are available. Childcare is available but must be requested when you register. (Note: We will not meet March 15, because of spring break for Knox County Schools.)
- Wednesday evenings, beginning February 11, we will continue with our regularly scheduled Parenting Partners activities. This will be offered as a time for discussion and support, with topics and activities selected by participants and facilitators. It will be independent of the Sunday sessions, and is available for all parents. There is no cost for the Wednesday meetings. (Note: There will be no programming the week of spring break or during Holy Week.)
