DivorceCare - Help for the Hurting

Posted on August 23rd, 2008

When someone goes through the agony of a divorce or separation, there rarely are people around who fully understand the pain you, your family, and your friends experience because of your troubled or failed marriage. That is the reason for DivorceCare. DivorceCare is a support group and 13-week DVD-based seminar facilitated by people who understand what you are experiencing, for they have experienced it themselves. With the help of DivorceCare, participants learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding their lives.

The next DivorceCare for adults group is now being organized through the leadership of Greg and Jackie Anderson. The group will meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the Susannah Wesley Room, room 111. There will be 13 sessions beginning September 3 and concluding December 3. Childcare is available. There will be a $12 charge for a participant workbook. Contact the church office (689-5175) to register your interest. If you have questions, you may call John Needy at the church or at home (687-8409).
