Instead of “November in January” Sunday, we should have called it “Hallelujah Sunday”! True to our heritage, the people of Fountain City United Methodist Church stepped up the past few days to help erase our debt of $68,500. While it is not due to be retired until November, we are making great progress in wiping it off the books much earlier. We are grateful to all who contributed and pledged $45,420 in just one week. Be sure and thank each other.
Thanks to your generosity in our pledge campaign for our 2008 operating budget and to this “November in January” effort, we are poised to fund some exciting, life-changing ministries this year. You may never know how your particular dollars will touch lives, but God will help us use them to God’s glory and service.
