As previously announced, there will be a called Church Conference on Monday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. to act upon a recommendation from our Building Committee. Approval of the recommendation will authorize a capital campaign and the continued conversation and work with our architect John Templeton, of Foxhollow-Goodson, and with Johnson-Galyon, contractors for a proposed renovation and building program. Tommy Schumpert, Building Committee chair, will present the proposal from the Building Committee. During the last week of November you received a case statement that set forth our needs and prospective plan. Conference approval will not authorize any renovation or building work, but will only provide the permission to move ahead with more detailed plans and a capital funds campaign.
The Church Conference is open to all members of the congregation, ages 18 and above. We hope you will join us for this exciting time. The meeting will be held in the sanctuary, and childcare will be provided.
