An informational meeting will be held January 6, to provide more details on the church mission trip to Leon, Nicaragua next summer. We will meet in the choir room at 5:00 p.m. and will be able to give details about the trip and answer any questions you may have. All adults who are interested and parents of youth who want to be involved are encouraged to attend this important meeting.
The Nicaragua team will leave Knoxville on Friday, May 23, and return on Friday, May 30. The cost of this trip is around $1,270 which includes everything except your passport and inoculations. All FCUMC adults and youth who have completed the ninth grade are invited to be a part of this mission experience. Working with El Ayudante, we will have a variety of ministry options to be involved with: VBS, Healthcare, Construction, Sports Outreach, and Women’s Ministry.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 will be due by January 27 to hold your spot.
