Would you like to know more about United Methodist beliefs and practices? Or conflict resolution? Or domestic violence? Or some particular area of ministry? If so, “Impacting Ministry” is for you. It is an afternoon that will allow us to explore various ministry opportunities and is sponsored by the Knoxville District of the United Methodist Church. Nine workshops and a time of worship will be the agenda for the day on Sunday, January 13, 2:00-4:45 p.m.
We are privileged to be able to host this event and hope you will be able to be a part of this training event. Brochures are available in the church office as well as on the tables in the narthex and outside Wesley Hall. Here’s the piece de resistance: our own Melissa Smith will be leading a session entitled: “R U Ready? Volunteers in Mission 101.” That’s worth the price of the “ticket” alone.
